freakin’ amazing. ned overend at tender age of 53 finished 2nd at mt. washington hill climb. not in his age group but overall. and that was only by less than 20 seconds behind the winner. the only thing that comes close to this level of asskickage was when genevieve jeanson finished 3rd overall (yup, including all those 120 lb. climber boys) in 2002 and 2003, but who knows if she was “juicing” back then.
