and all the girls half her age who calls themselves sprinters lets out one giant collective sigh in hopes of actually standing on top of the podium. i saw her winning the sprint in the tour of connecticut in 2000(?) by like 15 bike lengths. people used to say she was too old to sprint back then too. she will be missed.
